Ford F-150 Towing
The F-150 comes standard with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine with 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Models with this engine can tow up to 9,000 pounds. For maximum towing capability, pair your F-150 with the available 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 (400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque) and Max Tow/Haul package for a best-in-class towing capacity of 13,500 pounds.
Ford F-250 & F-350 Towing
Ford's Super Duty lineup boasts a robust selection of four engines:
- Standard 6.8-liter gas V8 (405 horsepower & 445 pound-feet of torque): tows up to 17,300 pounds with F-250 and 24,600 pounds with F-350.
- Available 7.3-liter gas V8 (430 horsepower & 485 pound-feet of torque): tows up to 19,500 pounds with F-250 and 22,500 pounds with F-350
- Available 6.7-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8 (475 horsepower & 1,050 pound-feet of torque): tows up to 22,900 pounds with F-250 and 36,400pounds with F-350
- Available 6.7-liter High-Output Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8 (500 horsepower & 1,200 pound-feet of torque): tows up to 23,000 pounds with F-250 and 38,000 pounds with F-350
Ford F-150 Lightning Towing
The fully electric F-150 Lightning pairs front and rear electric motors with either a Standard Range battery (452 horsepower & 775 pound-feet of torque) or an Extended Range battery (580 horsepower & 775 pound-feet of torque). Standard Range models can tow up to 7,700 pounds, while the Extended Range battery boosts the trailering rating to 10,000 pounds.
Ford Maverick Towing
The versatile Maverick has two engines. The standard 2.0-liter EcoBoost® I4 generates 238 horsepower, while the available 2.5-liter hybrid gets 191 horsepower. Both models can tow up to 4,000 pounds with the available Towing package.
Ford Ranger Towing
The Ranger has two engine options: a 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 (315 horsepower & 400 pound-feet of torque) and a 3.0-liter EcoBoost® V6 (405 horsepower & 430 pound-feet of torque). Either way, your Ranger can tow up to 7,500 pounds.
