Mild hybrid drive like regular gas vehicles. You'll refuel at a gas station like you are used to and don't have to worry about recharging. The gas engine is paired with an electric motor, which takes over in high fuel-use situations like idling or stop & go traffic.

Plug-in hybrids have a similar setup as mild hybrids, except the electric motor(s) take on more of a role, and they typically have larger battery packs that must be recharged by plugging into a charging station. PHEVs allow you to drive in pure electric mode, so it's possible to drive gas-free if you have short commutes.
